How to Properly Dye Human Hair Wig

Now, we can find various styles of wigs on the market, water weave hair, body wave hair, straight hair and deep curly hair. And there are different color for choosing as well. However, if you can’t find the specific color you want, it is possible to dye a wig. Both synthetic and human hair wigs can be dyed, and we suggest that you choose human hair wigs to dye, because human hair wigs can be dyed using the same process that is used with human virgin hair grown from the scalp. Today we are gonna to learn how to dye a human hair wig.

Things you’ll need: hair dye, 20-30 volume hair developer, rubber gloves or disposable gloves, a plastic bowl and a human hair wig.

Get everything needed

Put on the rubber gloves or disposable gloves, this may prevent your hands from getting dirty or hurt. Then mix the dye and developer in a plastic bowl. If your wig goes down below your shoulders, you may need two boxes of hair dye. And please do not use a metal bowl or spoon to mix your dye. The metal can oxidize the dye, causing it to change colors.

Apply the dye.

You can test the dye on a few strands of hair to make sure the color you dyed is your favorite one. Then soak the wig in the dye. With your hands, gently scoop the dye over the wig and spread it through the layers of the wig. Next, you may place the wig on the stand to secure the wig to the stand using T-pins, brush through the hair with a comb or wig brush to distribute the dye throughout the wig to make sure that the dye is evenly applied to the entire wig. Leave the wig to let the color set. When the wig has reached the right color, you can wash it.

Washing the hair.

You should use a color-safe shampoo or special lace wig shampoo to wash the wig. Place the wig under a tap with warm water to get rid of the excess dye before using the shampoo. Then apply the air conditioner to the hair. This step may make your wig shinier. Gently squeeze the wig with the towel to remove excess water, and place it back on the wig stand by dry. You may let it air dry or blow drying it. If you choose the latter one, please be careful with the heat of the hairdryer, make sure the wig does not overheat.

  1. Go find some”… so you want me to go out into public and find complete strangers asking them what photos will look good for my dating profile? Hah like that is normal thing to do, yeah right

@Ryan,In my opinion if those women are in your “target range”, then asking a stranger in your “target range” to help you with your photos should be almost easier than asking one on a date.  And in all honesty would be an easy way to score a potential date.  Be genuine about needing help with your photos and perhaps the same women/woman will become interested in more.  Even if not, in my opinion if you are unable to go from zero, to finding a woman in your target range that would be willing to help with your pictures, you definitely aren’t going to get dates with women in your target range.  In my opinion the younger women tend to only be attracted to older guys who are fearless of them and have a lot of confidence.  If you are confident, then you have no fear of asking a woman you barely know to help you out.My frame would be, “I could ask any woman to help with my photos but I chose you.”  instead of where you currently are, “what if I don’t know any in my target range?”  If women in your “target range” sense you are uncomfortable or unfamiliar with women their age, they will be put off and you not only won’t be able to get their help with your photos, but you won’t get a date for sure.P.S. In my opinion doing the “normal” thing tends to look beta, or at least doesn’t look alpha. Being unusual often attracts women honestly. I think you really should read all of Blackdragon’s books, or at least the main ones, Open Relationship Manual, Unchained Man, etc.

  2. I am 65 and have never had acne. However I am still dealing with tiny white bumps on my cheekbones. I know at my age moisturizing is essential…But I feel that does not help bumps. I do exfoliate, don’t wear makeup, and use a light moisturizer. Any advice?

  3. @BDAny opinions on Photofeeler?

That’s a VERY strong statement you made there :  ” The most outcome dependent people in society are attractive girls “Really what makes you say this ??

He’s right. That’s not even a new thing: Robert Greene talks about it on The Art of Seduction, when describing The Beauty victim type. Her appearance is the one area of her life she feels confident about (to the detriment of all others, in most cases), so any affront to her physical allures is a huge blow to her ego.

1] Don’t ever use a student photographer and with an SLR photographer having a great portfolio of indoor and outdoor shots, unfortunately that isn’t enough, as I learned in March.

I wouldn’t say never, but obviously one has to make sure and check the pictures the photographer took of people. I know quite a few great professional photographers who aren’t that great at taking pictures of people (or in some cases of men).
