Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve is located in the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh State in India. Spread across a huge area of 105 square kilometers, the buffer forest zone is spread over the divisions of Umaria and Katniwhich totals 1536 square kilometers. The park has humungous bio-diversity. To reach Bandhavgarh, one can board a taxi from Umaria and take a 37 km ride to reach the national park. For people travelling via planes, they can book a flight to Jabalpur and head to Bandhavgarh, which is about 190 km from Jabalpur city. For travelers who are planning to reach Bandhavgarh via train, can board a train to Katni, which is an important railway junction, and is about 100 km away from Bandhavgarh via road.
